Like going to bed hungry,
Another stomach growling,
Wild dogs barking.
Starving, snapping, frothing.

Another mouth to feed,
In bed still empty,
Thoughts on repeat,
Infected dreams,
half asleep.

What the mistress wants,
She thinks,
Short leash; out of reach,
What keeps her safe,
While she sleeps?

We writhe and scheme,
Counting tallies,
Blood red fantasies,
Say whatever she needs,
Regret, repeat. Regret, repeat.

What my body's missing,
Nature's gifts once plenty,
But memories won't feed,
This hollow belly.

Gve it to me now,
No more waiting,
I'll take it raw,
Scarlet and dripping,
Pupil dilating,
Little lamb bleeting.
Distant plees,

Salivating,
Dance for god,
Mouthwatering,
Full moon howling.

Pick the bones of meat,
No hands, just teeth,
Watch it bleed,
Muted screams,
Drowning in heat.
Spilling all over me,
Other world unraveling.
Jaws unclenching,
There's no unviolating.

Going to Bed Hungry
