If there's one thing I know,
It's who I truly am.

Before I was a devil,
This time I'm a good man.

I used to envy flesh,
Now I'm above lust and sin.

I always combed my hair,
Until it began to thin.

I used to read proven works,
Now I write babel instead.

I would heed every warning,
Until I heard the voice within.

I weighed every consequence,
Then I threw caution to the wind.

My mind would wander,
Until it lost direction.

Things I'd never forget,
Turn up lost again.

I was waiting on the shore,
Until I dove right in.

Who I Truly Am
